Acting on a tip, Seagoville Police located a 15 year old runaway and approximately $25,000 in stolen air conditioning repair equipment at the Seagoville Inn. On July 29, 2010, officers arrested Pelayo Arturo Jr., 21, of Dallas for an outstanding warrant. The room he was renting at the Seagoville Inn contained numerous air conditioning repair items later found to be stolen from area cities. Seagoville detectives obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s room, where they discovered items taken in vehicle burglaries from Mesquite, Dallas and Garland. Detectives are working with other area law enforcement agencies in attempt to locate the rightful owners of the stolen property.
